But stay away from these "remote unlockers" where they give
you a code (either for free or for a charge). They send you
a code based on your phone's IMEI.

These *can* work, but you still get a list of codes, and have
to "just know" which one will work and, of course, if the code
is wrong, you lose (one 'o') one of your attempts at entering the
code. (Don't know what the limit is)

Much better to go to a CBS or whatever, and pay the 10.00.
