From: Jstein on 12 Jul 2008 17:37 Hello everyone, I am running a MBP with Leopard. My girlfriends Macbook (running Tiger) has been acting very strange. It repeatedly crashes, hangs on boot and has been running very slow. I have tried diagnosing the issue but I turn up empty handed. This computer was purchased through the internet roughly a year ago and because of this we do not have the install disks. I have prior experience migrating a Tiger OS from one Powerbook to another using Migration Assistant. I attempted to do the same with her Macbook but to no avail. In her Macbook I open Migration Assistant and advanced to the step where I am to boot up the "old mac" (my Macbook Pro). The Migration Assistant on her computer states that after I boot the MBP into Target disk mode that it is "locating the drives." This is where I get stuck. It never seems to locate the drive with OSX installed. Does anyone have any experience transferring a Leopard OS to a Tiger laptop? Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance. Sincerely, Jesse Stein
