Hello everybody,
I'm a bit late (compared to last year's conference announcement), but my
excuse is that I'm too much involved in Vulcan projects, so I hardly find
time to update the conference website. www.vodc.visualobjects.de now
includes the first announcements for VODC 08 which will take place in
Hamburg, Germany, from November 12th to 14th.

This website currently is in German only and quite some details are not
yet ready to be published at this early stage. Most importantly, the
conference fees are still the same (now for the fourth year in a row)
although prices for almost everything else are steadily going up. Also,
early registration discounts and discounts for VOPS members are still the
same as in the years before.

For many of you a new section named "Vulcan News" may include some news
because you may not be monitoring www.govulcan.net on a regular basis.
Also the list of links to the public news groups on GrafX servers have
been added.
The speakers list is not yet complete. We are very thankful that GrafX
decided to send the entire devteam to Hamburg although there's a date
conflict with the European TechEd in Barcelona, which obviously must be
also very important for GrafX. So thanks again.

More updates to the website coming soon.

The url for the English version is www.vodc.visualobjects.de/en . Updates
here in the next few days.

Hello Dieter !

We are really looking forward to VODC this year. This has been an excellent
conference in past years, so we look for more of the same this year. As this
years conference will be in yet another new city, we also look forward to
spending some time to explore Hamburg. See you all there !
