From: artie lange on 18 Apr 2008 09:23 Hi, I am trying to construct a IPSEC VPN with an extranet, we have a Cisco 5510 and the remote end has a Checkpoint. They are requesting what my local subnet that my hosts will be coming from, I only need 3 hosts to access the VPN, so I was think that I could assign static IP's to the workstations that need to use the VPN, and send the extranet 172.16.1.80/29 for my local subnet info. This should allow .81-.86 to access the VPN? The local LAN subnet is a class C network, and I am curious if this would be a proper way to configure the VPN. Thanks
