I cannot establish a VPN connection (using WLAN). The Smartphone seems
to automatically establishing a GPRS connection as soon as I open the
Browser, on the other hand I cannot find most of the settings, which
are documented under "Create a VPN connection" in the Windows Mobile
help on http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/help/smartphone/connections.mspx.

My Windows Mobile is in German.

I should change connection setting in pocket Internet Explorer
(pIE->Menu->Tools->Option->Connection) t from 'GPRS' to 'Internet'.
So, make first turn on WLAN and then VPN connection.

I assume you are using the built-in PPTP/L2TP VPN client in WM5.

The internet connection used underneath the VPN connections is automatically
selected by connection manager based on several different connection
settings. If you want to use WLAN, then you need to set network cards to
connect to "internet". If your WLAN is connected to "work", the VPN will
try and connect the GPRS.
