ok, trying to connect my Dell Axim X50v so i can access my shared files on
my pc at home whilst on an internet hotspot in another part of the country.

I have it all set up i believe, and also have my home pc set in the DMZ on
my router.

I can access terminal services fine from my PPC by simply entering my IP
address... but can't seem to connect to my VPN.

Any ideas? is there a simple tutorial set-up for idiots guide? I'm using PPC
2003second edition, and home PC is on XP Pro.

Ta.

Ian you should enter \\computername\ or \\computername\share and that'll
work. Give that a try, once file explorer detects the non-dotted name it
will tell the vpn client to initialize and establish a connection.
