From: mkrichenbauer on 13 Mar 2006 12:17 Hi Everybody, I need to Batch-Scan Pages in Duplex mode. The Software that i have to input the scans does not support multi-page tifs. That is why I need a separate file for each page. Is there a Scan-Software that has 2 variables to name Files? For Example Invoice-007-front.tif for the front Page and Invoice-007-back.tif for the backside? Thank you in Advance Markus

While it doesn't support it the way you have, it does have advanced naming features. Plus you would be able to go strait to a multiple page tiff file with it. So you wouldn't need that feature anyways. Check it out: http://www.scanhelp.com/288int/artcopy/enterpriseversion/index.html Thanks, Clarence Klopfstien
From: Danny on 14 Mar 2006 22:35 Hi Markus, the Artcopy looks is pretty good for most scanners- I haven't had enough time to really try it out~ but, will definitely one of these weekends... another simple application which is simple- as well as free: http://www.fcpa.com/download/download/scanners/drivers/ScandAll21.exe it's a twain compliant application if you want to scan directly from a twain scanner or if the tif's exist already then it easily can file import the individual tiffs into a mulitipage tiff as well... not elaborate- but get;s the job done and again- you can't beat free... hope it helps~ Danny

You can even 'edit' (and shuffle) the individual pages after scanning. http://www.irfanview.com/ hth PerL
