From: michelle on 8 May 2008 13:58 Hello, I have two videos in a powerpoint (2007) presentation, and when the slide advances, the first frame of the video shows, then disappears for a second, and then the video resumes. It does not do this when played outside of Powerpoint. I've moved a copy of the PPT along with the two WMV files and shortened the names to minimize the length of the file path. This helped a bit, but is there anything else i should try? Thanks in advance! Michelle

michelle This is "normal". When you insert a video in powerpoint it grabs the first frame as a image and inserts it as a placeholder. When you start the playback it may take a second or two to begin playing. If you have not done so recently I'd suggest defragmenting your hard drive to minimize the delay.
