Anyone got this running? I was planning on installing Vista Basic on it.
2ghz with 1 Gig of ram. I will probably max the ram out. I can't find any
Vista drivers on Dell's website. I figured Vista has all the needed drivers.

I take it you like Vista? If it were me (and it's not) I'd stick with
XP.

Haven't done it, but I think your idea to boost the RAM to at least 2gb is a
good one. Clean install should run fine - even for Vista Home Premium (or
even Ultimate).

*Disclaimer: I've not installed nor run Vista Home Basic to know how it
performs versus XP.

don't bet on vista having all the drivers, audio, video and Ethernet will
probably be missing.
