Kevin (or others), is this the same place to find Firefox errors. All
of a sudden Firefox will not start; icon bounces around, then
disappears.

Any clues?

Start it from a terminal and see if it says something, although firefox
is great in hiding itself.
If that doesn't help, rename ~/.mozilla to ~/.mozilla_bak and try again.
If it works then, put back the things in ~/.mozilla_bak to ~/.mozilla
and see each time if that was the problem. OK, perhaps not one by one,
but X at a time, so you can determine which one was at fault and still
have all your settings correct.

If that doesn't work, re-install firefox and see if that work. Then copy
all of ~/.mozilla_bak to ~/.mozilla and see if that works.

The procedure should be:
close firefox
change ~/.mozilla
start firefox

sophisticated and well supported in logic and argument than others.

Strange stuff, Without doing any of that, Firefox is now loading.

Both Opera and Firefox do that for me if I try to start multiple
instances of them
