From: (Joseph on 28 Feb 2006 21:29 Recently I purchased wireless usb G adapters, of make Blanc. Since purchasing this, I've noticed that my signal strength drops from 11Mbps to down to 2 Mbps. This is even when the laptop is in the same room as the router. Previous to this, I had a trendnet adapter connecting to a trendnet router, no issues. Any thoughts on what I can do to fix this. I'm also wondering why it only shows a max signal strength of 11Mbps whereas the router is a G and with the previous adapter, I was obtaining speeds of 54Mbps. Thank you

Joseph, hunt around your settings. perhaps the wireless network is set to " b only" rather than to " gonly" or " b and g" some of the blanc routers are rebadged gigafast brand .
