Has anyone experienced this problem with the FLVPlayback component?

I am using it from within a class, and using buttons to change the movie being
played. When I do this

my_video.contentPath = my_str;
it loads and plays the movie....but it is tracing out a huge load of
gobbledegook every single frame like below Makes it impossible to use any other
trace statements in my code while building. Has anyone else had this happen.
and is there a way to switch it off?
