Purely in the "for shits and giggles" category, I decided to try my hand
at a Hackintosh.

<shrug> And it just worked.

Can't see what the fuss was about. It wasn't too happy with my video
card (nVidia 5200 Pro as I recall) as moving windows produced some
_very_ odd effects, and System Profiler crashes when you try to run it
but, essentially, it worked.

Now to wipe it and stick something else on.

That's quite fascinating in an "ew" kind of way, like watching someone
who can suck in a length of spaghetti, cough and blow it out their
nostril.

And strangely that's almost _exactly_ how it felt.

By the way did you notice
<http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/7364663.stm>? Sky will need
to invest in some serious corsetry for the old Blakes 7 cast :-)
