Not in my experience. Totally broken and when I went to remove the damn
thing it took out a bunch of my original Slackware packages. I had to
reinstall to get everything right again.

Now if they provided actual Slack build framework for compiling from
sources I might take another look.

Quite different from my experiences with it. Like I said, it works well
(for me).

Actually, I didn't once I realized that this was the mess that forced
me into a complete reinstall.
