Windows Mobile 5. I'm trying to figure out why my Pocket MSN Hotmail
account is not retrieving my messages automatically. Do i need to sign up to
the pocket MSN service via http://mobile.msn.com/ac.aspx?cid=uuhp_pocketmsn
.. I running out of ideas of why I'm not getting my hotmail messages
delivered and why why I send emails from my Pocket Hotmail account, it
remains in Outbox. I'm hoping someone else has figured this one out or knows
what I need to do in order to resolves this.Thanks.

Hey,

I'm not sure on that particular problem, but I was curious if you ever
had a problem that when launching MSN Messenger (the little dock setup,
that shows hotmail, msn, and other stuff) that it exit that program?
I've had an issue where I run MSN, and I go to shut it down, and it
shuts down for a second, then pops back up trying to sign into MSN.

Sorry this is unrelated to answering your question, but kinda curious
if anyone else has had this issue.

not yet but the night is still young. man, i bought the ppc 6700 cuz it was
the only device(at the time) to have WM5 on it. been trying to get my
hotmail configured so that i can send/receive messages automatically but as
of today have been unsuccessful. I have to manually click send/receive in
order to update my Inbox which i find ridiculous.

also, totally unrelated, through sprint's power vision network, i should be
able to download some real cool apps like Sprint TV, etc. and take advantage
of the EVDO capability but have spent an inordinant amount of time with
Sprint's support with people whose education level seem to be suspect. I've
spent way too many minutes both personal and phone trying to get this all
resolved but to no avail.

Is there not a setting in the initial set-up of the mail account on your PPC
to check for messages every XX minutes?
If you have this unchecked then you will have to manually send/receive,
which sounds like what you are doing now.
