If you're using Sony, try their brickwall limiter. If you want an exact
clone of Waves L1 for free use this VST:

http://www.yohng.com/w1limit.html

It's been independently verified to give the exact bit-for-bit output of the
L1. Of course if you have Sonar 7 you have Boost 11 too.

Experiment with the plugs you have available and see what works the best for
you...

I prefer the limiter in Ozone 3 over the ones that come with Sonar, but the
Sonar plugs are certainly quite usable.
