I am trying to locate where to initiate the Tablet Input Panel. I have the
on-screen keyboard, but cannot find the TIP. Any Suggestions?

First question... are you running the tabletpc os and, if so, what os
version and what tabletpc?

Normally the tip icon is next to the start button.

Depending on your settings, a tip icon should appear when the stylus is
near a text insertion point.

finally, check your oem's menu options... there may be a tip launch
option included.

I am running Windows Vista Buisness. Unfortunately, there is no Tip icon
next to the input fields. Is this supposed to be a plug-in that i can
download from somewhere, or is it supposed to be specific to a flavor of OS?

missed the key question... are you using a tablet computer and is the os
a tablet version of windows?

Available only from tablet oem shipped with tablet devices... cannot be
downloaded nor purchased from any source.

For example, if you upgrade the os on a tablet pc, there is a
possibility you will loose all tablet functionality.

Here you go...in Vista Help search "Tablec PC Input Panel" it will show you
the way. If you do not have the icon miss Beverly was referring to, right
click your taskbar and select Toolbars, then Input Panel. If you cannot get
either of these, check your Control Panel, if your control panel has no
residue of a Tablet PC then you are SOL.

Good Luck
