Depends on what you're doing. If you're using an app that can use four
processors well, then the Q6600 is a great choice. If you use apps that
really only use one processor but chew them up, the 8400 is a better
choice.

In other words, what are you wanting to do with the computer?.

I got the card reader bit to work. Never noticed any problems with it but
then again I have only ever used the SD card slot.

When I looked for the bluetooth device in my hardware display on XP it
didn't show up at all - not even as a device with the yellow question mark.
I assumed, maybe wrongly, that mine just didn't have the bluetooth feature.

That will be why I needed to load them from diskette - I had the original
XP Pro CD with SP2 slipstreamed onto it. The only Dell CD I have is the
Vista one which came with my machine.
