From: johan.vermaak on 11 Jan 2006 13:12 Will an A8N-SLI Deluxe motherboard, which says its power pin is 24, will a power supply that has 20 +4 work on this board? I'm not sure if 20 +4 is the same thing or compatable with 24 pin. I'm looking at these two pieces of hardware at newegg.com, if looking at them yourself would help, here are the links: ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813131517 ) ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817103512 ) Also, I don't have much of a background with powersupplies, is enermax a good brand? Anything bad about them? Thanks much. Johan

A 20 + 4 connector means that it can be used on a 20 pin or a 24 pin motherboard. > > I'm looking at these two pieces of hardware at newegg.com, if looking > at them yourself would help, here are the links: ( > http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813131517 ) ( > http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817103512 ) > > Also, I don't have much of a background with powersupplies, is enermax > a good brand? This way the PSU will work with both 20 and 24 pin motherboards. Enermax is a g ood brand as well. Andy
