From: Carey Frisch [MVP] on 12 Mar 2008 17:43 No, Windows 7 is the code name for the next Windows operating system that is now in the very early stages of development. It will not "replace" Windows Vista, but will supersede it with advanced technology. Please see the following: How to apply to become a beta tester for Microsoft http://support.microsoft.com/kb/833520 -- Carey Frisch Microsoft MVP Windows Shell/User --------------------------------------------------------------- "Steven Wabik" wrote: i really have no idea of where to post this specific question so i guess i'll just post it to these multiple newsgroups. if anyone can pint a better newsgroup to post it to please tell me. anyways, i was looking around on the web and i found out about a new version of Windows called Windows 7. it seems to be the replacement of Windows Vista. i was wondoering if anyone knows of how i could beta test this new Windows operating system.
