From: Jack on 4 Mar 2005 07:25 I am trying to get windows XP installed on a single SATA drive with my Intel 925XE motherboard. I don't want to install RAID (only one drive) nor the Intel application accelerator. How can I do this? All the instructions call for F6 to load the RAID drivers and I cannot find a SATA driver on the Intel website.

That may be a naming issue. I think Windows might just ask for a driver for the contoller and the controller happens to be a RAID controller (that can also be used as non-raid), hence it asks for a driver for the RAID controller... Look for SATA drivers for the mainboard. Arno
From: Eric Gisin on 4 Mar 2005 15:08 Did you disable RAID in BIOS setup? Microsoft IDE driver should work.
