From: Art Werschulz on 1 Mar 2006 19:56 Hi. For some reason, Windows Media Player isn't displaying video content. However, it *does* play the audio associated with a WMV file. Suggestions on how to fix? -- Art Werschulz (agw STRUDEL comcast.net) 207 Stoughton Ave Cranford NJ 07016 (908) 272-1146

Get Flip4Mac and watch it with the QT player? I was just thinking about posting a report on how I got a wmv file to play in QuickTime using Flip4Mac and someone else mentioned it first. But I will report it anyway. I had a wmv which I couldn't play in either QuickTime or MPlayer, but after installing Flip4Mac it played fine in QuickTime. As I understand it the only current ways to view a wmv3 file under Mac OS X are to either install Windows Media Player for Mac or use Flip4Mac. There was some indication that MPlayer would be able to do it but I couldn't get it to work. Of course if the file is also locked up by some sort of Digital Restrictions Management system then Flip4Mac may not be able to do it either. Ian -- Ian Gregory http://www.zenatode.org.uk/ian/
