From: Lane McMullen on 17 Apr 2008 12:08 My company is currently using Exchange 2003 SP2 with many Windows Mobile 5 devices without any problem. E-mail is pushing to the devices and is being updated as expected. In testing a Windows Mobile 6 device however, it seems that the device is not updating automatically and e-mail is not being pushed appropriately. Manual synchronization works without a problem. I am new to WM6 and am not sure where to start troubleshooting. Why is it that our WM5 devices are good, and our WM6 devices fail to update automatically?

I had a treo 750 running on windows mobile 5 and the email was working great: that treo died and a replacement was sent to me that runs on windows mobile 6. Now my emails won't push correctly. I was told by someone at AT&T that the 6 version doesn't have pocket msn program loaded which is how the email worked with the 5 version. I was told I had to have a purchased/premium account with hotmail for the WM 6 version to push the emails through. Have you heard this as well? I don't know if I want to upgrade my email account until I am sure the push feature will work.
