From: Scottie on 20 Jul 2008 18:35 Checking the Registry, I find a software uninstalled some ago is still recorded under the Legacy entries. Any attempts to erase this from the registry is denied. Can these Legacies entries applying to a particular software title be made able for removal from the Registry? - what steps are required to do so safely? -- Your assistance is most appreciated.

Try a Windows XP newsgroup. This is a .NET programming group. Here's how to get there via the web interface: http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.aspx Click the + beside your language. then scroll down to Windows. In Windows, find the Windows XP category. Open it and find a group under XP for your question.
