From: Alex Barrow on 19 Apr 2008 05:49 Hi All, Apologies if slightly offtopic... On my XDA from O2 mobile, at the very bottom on right, there are 3 very small icons on the Today screen, one for O2, one for Battery and one for Connection Mgr. Seeing as i dont really use any of these, and they take up valuble space, is there a way i can get them removed from the screen ?? Many Thanks

Not sure, I also have the original Orbit, an excellent phone/PDA etc., but, from bitter experience of trying to free up space by deleting (unused) progs. As these take up so little (main) memory I would personally leave them there, if you needed more space for additional software, why not configure it to be installed on the micro SD card inside. Out of interest (again at my expense) the Orbit will only accept up to 2Gb (the new Orbit accepts up to 32Gb!) Not sure if this helps or not, but just a word of caution, beware what you delete as there are no back facilities for saving the phones memory, unlike the previous XDAIIi and XDA series. Hope this helps.................... That Man (Huddersfield)
