Hi Michael, I was able to implement the analog triggering using a dummy AO task. Once I can clean it up a bit, I'll post a small example of it.  I would recommend giving that a try and seeing if it works for you.  Another option would to create a software "alarm" that sets a digital line level based on the analog signal.  This would work depending on how quick of a response you need.  Multifunction DAQ is not ideal for active control loops, but it can do this well enough if you can spare some time for processing.
