From: vonstack on 6 May 2008 06:25 Hey all I was just wondering how you get your flash website centered on the page. Also my site has a movie with pictures and I cant seem to get the cursor to toggle to a hand so the user knows when you click it a new page will open up. Can you guys give me some feed back on the site too I'd be happy to send the source file in order to make it faster as well as money. Thanks the site is christianvonstackelberg.net. -Christian
From: NedWebs on 6 May 2008 08:05 For centering you can use div tags in the html file surrounding the flash embedding code... <div align="center"> ..... flash code.... </div>
From: NedWebs on 6 May 2008 08:12 I visited the url you provided and both the image and the name do switch to a hand pointer when I mouse over them. What you might want to do is make it more obvious to click on things by including a button or link that directly indicates to click it to enter the site. It saves people from guessing where they need to click and what clicking on something will bring them to. For example, I clicked on the picture, but wasn't sure where it would take me in doing that... maybe a bio of you? maybe a bigger picture? maybe the web site?
