From: markdemers15 on 8 May 2006 20:23 I had always thought my Mac OS X.3 had the capability to run .exe files. However, when I put in a CD with .exe files to install a software package, it does not seem to run .exe. How can I get it to work?

To run it on a PowerPC Mac you can use a emulator (VirtualPC), and to run it on an Intel-based Mac (under MacOS X 10.4.x then) you can use either BootCamp to boot under Windows instead of MacOS X or a virtualization software like Parallels' <http://www.parallels.com/en/products/workstation/mac/> which allows you to run MacOS X and Windows simultaneously. -- Serge Pajak

You appear to have a Microsoft only CD. Check the packaging and/or documentation. You do have options that are usually more expensive than the CD you're trying to install. leo -- <http://web0.greatbasin.net/~leo/>
