Prev: User cannot logon from project client to server 2007
Next: Looking for online tutorial of MS Project..
From: lunixer on 13 May 2008 16:11 I've read several FAQs, Blogs, etc... I posted to the Project Newsgroup with no luck. A user gets this message when trying to connect from a Office Project 2007 client: "Login failed. Project could not connect to the server. Please check username and password and try again". The same user can login just fine using Internet Explorer. The interesting part is that the user with which I installed Project server has no trouble login in from Office Project or the PWA. When I add the accounts in Office Project I use the URL http://pserver/pwa and set to Windows Authentication. Any tips will be appreciated. Thanks.
