i have the router plugged into my desktop. the laptop gets on the internet no
problem. my desktop cant see the laptop and the laptop cant see the desktop.
we cannot share files or printer

Start by checking for a personal firewall - misconfigured or overlooked. What
antivirus protection do you have? What make and model router is it?

Diagnose the problem, using logs from "browstat status", "ipconfig /all", "net
config server", and "net config workstation", from each computer. Read this
