confusing to me

From: carlo90 on 21 Jul 2008 12:48 hello all, i plan on connecting my xbox 360 pro to my 5.1 surrond sound system. what series of steps would i need to follow to do so? i have 2 hdmi cables, and i only want to use hdmi because it delivers the best quality in audio and video. i appreciate the help

LEt me first suggest to you that you try a home theater newsgroup, and this isn't it. THe folks in this group deal with sound reinforcement, i.e. concerts, dramatic performances; worship services, meetings and conferences, etc. mOst of us wouldn't be able to tell you excrement from shinola about an xbox and some of us really don't care, so you probably couldn't get a reliable answer. I know it's hard to tell what the real topic of this group is with all the juvenile behavior these days, but to get an intelligent answer, try one of the home theater newsgroups.
