From: msbmsb13 on 3 Apr 2008 17:36 I have an HTC Touch Cruise with 128 MB of RAM running WM 6.0. Unfortunately, CompanionLink told me that WM can only handle up to 5,000 contacts. It will successfully load once and run greata for a while, but don't synch again or install anything.., even so it eventually crashes, cannot resynch and needs to be hard-booted to restart from scratch. I have 7500 contacts and am working on figuring out who I don't want to bring with me... I'm amazed MS has still not fixed this issue for serious users, otherwise why not just get an IPhone if you don't need for serious business? Otherwise its really cool!

An iPhone probably won't do you much better. There's no way of searching through those 7500 contacts. I can't imagine how much scrolling you'll have to do with that! It was nice when the older versions of Pocket PCs had the capability of syncing specific categories. <msbmsb13(a)gmail.com> wrote in message news:b5348463-2e18-451e-8898-d74b481bae1f(a)u36g2000prf.googlegroups.com... > I have an HTC Touch Cruise with 128 MB of RAM running WM 6.0. > Unfortunately, CompanionLink told me that WM can only handle up to > 5,000 contacts.
