From: roberto1972 on 15 May 2008 18:15 Hello ! I would like to request some advice regarding a problem I have : does somebody of you know how to assign a fix cost in two different days for a same work? For instance, I have to buy an equipment for $50000 and there is a down payment of 30% the day first ($15000)and the rest 70% ($35000) the day 10th. How do you put this two fix numbers into this work, in its propers days? I have been like a whole day trying to find out a solution to this but I could not! Thanks in advance! From: Rod Gill on 15 May 2008 18:30 In Project 2003 create separate milestones to represent payments. In Project 2007 create a resource of type Cost (see help) and in the Task Usage view enter costs against dates for the task. Note that Project does not manage Cash flows well. -- Rod Gill Microsoft MVP for Project Author of the only book on Project VBA, see: http://www.projectvbabook.com "roberto1972" <roberto1972.39h33e(a)DoNotSpam.com> wrote in message news:roberto1972.39h33e(a)DoNotSpam.com... > > Hello ! > > I would like to request some advice regarding a problem I have : does > somebody of you know how to assign a fix cost in two different days for > a same work? > > For instance, I have to buy an equipment for $50000 and there is a down > payment of 30% the day first ($15000)and the rest 70% ($35000) the day > 10th. > How do you put this two fix numbers into this work, in its propers > days? > > I have been like a whole day trying to find out a solution to this but > I could not! > > Thanks in advance! > > Rob. > > > -- > roberto1972 > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > roberto1972's Profile: http://forums.techarena.in/member.php?userid=49408 > View this thread: http://forums.techarena.in/showthread.php?t=969009 > > http://forums.techarena.in >
