From: Elle on 28 Apr 2008 08:40 I need to create a report showing where will be each month on certain tasks based on % complete so far since the start date? How can I calculate these forecast percentages?
From: Trevor Rabey on 28 Apr 2008 10:34 Try this. Set the Status Date to the end of the first month. Then select all Tasks and use the 2nd button on the Tracking Toolbar to "Update as scheduled". This will schedule everything complete up to the Status Date. Copy the % Complete column, which you can see in the Tracking Table, and save it somewhere safe such as in a spreadsheet. For the next month, same story except first move the Status Date to the end of the next month. Etc for all of the other subsequent months. Select the Task Usage view. Set the calendar to show months. Right mouse click on any "Work" in the "Details" column. Select "Detail Styles". Select "Cumulative Percent Complete".
