From: jef peeraer on 13 Dec 2006 17:14 i'll get these kind of errors on a amd64 bit system ( dual core opteron ), with kernel 2.6.16.21-0.25-smp. Especially tftp causes these errors ( but also nscd, su ). Is this a kernel issue ( and thus can be resolved by an upgrade ), or is it just the hardware . h8sll motherboard, dual opteron 1800 Mhz, 3ware raid controller, 2 x WD HD's, kingston ram ( mem-tested ) Dec 13 14:30:44 BeWo kernel: su[13548] general protection rip:2b33d2443974 rsp:7fffd8c3f058 error:0 Dec 13 14:30:44 BeWo kernel: su[13550] general protection rip:2b60875f2974 rsp:7fff23a91ea8 error:0 Dec 13 14:30:44 BeWo kernel: su[13551] general protection rip:2adcf8a4d974 rsp:7fffb2634888 error:0 Dec 13 17:06:08 BeWo kernel: in.tftpd[14821] general protection rip:2b211ce918f3 rsp:7fff8debc1d8 error:0 Dec 13 17:06:10 BeWo kernel: in.tftpd[14822] general protection rip:2b211ce918f3 rsp:7fff8debc1d8 error:0 Dec 13 17:06:14 BeWo kernel: in.tftpd[14823] general protection rip:2b211ce918f3 rsp:7fff8debc1d8 erro jef peeraer |
