From: Ed on 2 Mar 2005 13:39 In Word 2003 the graphis often (not always) become invisable after inserting them. The graphic (photo, clipart, drawing object) is still there, it jus does not show up. I am in Print Layout view. It does not show up in Print Preview either. It does not matter if I use Picture Placeholders as they do not show up either. It is running on a Dell Pentium 4 @ 3.2 GHz with 1 MB of ram.
From: garfield-n-odie on 2 Mar 2005 15:19 In Word, click on Tools | Options | Print | check the "Drawing objects" box | OK. From: Ed on 2 Mar 2005 15:39 Thanks for trying. The Drawing Objects box was already checked, but i unchecked and rechecked just to see if that might help and it did not. From: garfield-n-odie on 2 Mar 2005 16:39 In Word, click on Tools | Options | View | check the "Drawings" box and uncheck the "Picture placeholders" box. If that doesn't help, then try reducing the hardware acceleration setting in Start | Control Panel | Display | Settings | Advanced | Troubleshooting. Ed wrote: > Thanks for trying. From: Ed on 2 Mar 2005 16:59 I tried that too, no luck. Interestingly it does not show even the picture placeholder if I have that checked. Acceleration made no difference either. Thanks "garfield-n-odie" wrote: > In Word, click on Tools | Options | View | check the "Drawings" box and > uncheck the "Picture placeholders" box.
