I just plugged my 200 gb hard drive in my new motherboard,
and now it doesn't work anymore in my good computer. Is this
common for a HD to just break when trying to hook it up
in a new motherboard? How the @#$% did this happen?

What do you mean "doesn't work"?

Did you plug it in properly? Does it work in the old computer?

Nope, very rare.

You could have fried it if you forced the power connector in backwards.
