From: Miss K Miss on 13 Jun 2008 08:38 I tried to set up a header. Somehow it has been saved and everytime I open "new" to create a new document, the header appears on the page. How can I remove it?
From: Stefan Blom on 13 Jun 2008 08:51 Open the Normal template as a document and remove the header. Save and close the file. For more, see http://word.mvps.org/faqs/customization/CustomizeNormalTemplate.htm. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "Miss K" <Miss K(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:2E60B289-DC36-4E20-B4C7-BFF5CA171C11(a)microsoft.com... >I tried to set up a header. From: Suzanne S. Barnhill on 13 Jun 2008 10:13 Note that removing the header content will not remove the empty header paragraph, which can cause problems with labels. This is one case where blowing away Normal.dot may be the only solution. -- Suzanne S.
