From: duduche on 10 Jan 2006 14:05 Hi, I bought a DVD and i want to create a backup. When i try with K3B it says "impossible - encrypted dvd". How to burn a copy of an encrypted dvd using Mandriva Linux 2006 please?

Some key words to point you in the right direction. libdvdcss Video::DVDRip PLF Easy URPMI libdvdread libdvdnav transcode mencoder mplayer xine kaffeine not necessarily in that order. :-) Please anybody? Yes, and you forgot also the command line: dd if=path-to-dvd-device of=path-to-file/filename.iso Should work too but md5 checksumming is mandatory...
