From: Bill on 13 May 2008 10:24 Gordon We already have - the Express version is for a client who does not need the professional version and certainly doesn't want banner advertising everywhere you look - it is not necessary and puts people off more than it entices them to follow through with it. Microsoft removing choice for people is never a good idea. That's the pay-off - buy the product and you don't get advertising - install the FREE product and you get advertising. Many other vendors do exactly the same, not just MS. Qualcom with Eudora Email client for example. There are plenty of competitors to MS Accounting which don't cost as much, and don't have advertising AFAIK.... |
