There's a way to link to a certain page in a PDF if the PDF is on a web server;
otherwise, I don't think it's possible.

Thanks: but I need to open up to a specific page. The current PPT software
(2003) only lets me open the file.

If that is the only page in the pdf document that PowerPoint needs to access, why not just save that page as an individual pdf file then access it. Just a thought.
