From: Liam Getreu on 24 Jan 2006 16:47 I have an HP iPaq 5450 that I'd like to reset to its original factory settings, so it's like new. I fed the iPaq enough incorrect passwords in a row so it came up with the option for a "Full Reset", which I chose to do, and then it tells me: "Please do a FULL RESET. Refer to User Manual if necessary." Now, I don't know how to do a "FULL RESET", and it appears as if I never got a "User Manual" in the box when I bought the machine! As you can tell, I'm a bit confused... Any help will be appreciated, Liam.
From: dougie on 25 Jan 2006 06:52 Hi Hard Reset. 1. Hold in the Calendar button and the Task button together 2. Push the stylus into the soft reset hole for 10 seconds Doug "Liam Getreu" <liam.getreu(a)gmail.com> wrote in message news:1138139241.414968.126150(a)g49g2000cwa.googlegroups.com... > I have an HP iPaq 5450 that I'd like to reset to its original factory > settings, so it's like new. > > I fed the iPaq enough incorrect passwords in a row so it came up with > the option for a "Full Reset", which I chose to do, and then it tells > me: "Please do a FULL RESET. From: "Brad "LCD" Adrian" on 25 Jan 2006 14:18 FYI -- If you need any kind of HP Pocket PC User Guide, you can go to the HP site and do a search for your product name (i.e., "5450") and navigate your way to specific info for your device. Each device has a PDF manual/guide that you can download. -- Brad "LCD" Adrian "Liam Getreu" <liam.getreu(a)gmail.com> wrote in message news:1138139241.414968.126150(a)g49g2000cwa.googlegroups.com...
