I have an HP iPaq 5450 that I'd like to reset to its original factory
settings, so it's like new.

I fed the iPaq enough incorrect passwords in a row so it came up with
the option for a "Full Reset", which I chose to do, and then it tells
me: "Please do a FULL RESET. Refer to User Manual if necessary."

Now, I don't know how to do a "FULL RESET", and it appears as if I
never got a "User Manual" in the box when I bought the machine! As you
can tell, I'm a bit confused...

Any help will be appreciated,
Liam.

Hi

Hard Reset.

1. Hold in the Calendar button and the Task button together
2. Push the stylus into the soft reset hole for 10 seconds

FYI -- If you need any kind of HP Pocket PC User Guide, you can go to the HP
site and do a search for your product name (i.e., "5450") and navigate your
way to specific info for your device. Each device has a PDF manual/guide
that you can download.
