Choose Select All when in your Podcast library ... right click and
choose Mark As Not New. Takes 2 seconds and only needs to be done every
few weeks (or depending on podcast frequency). There's probably an
Applescript that could do this for you after each podcast downloads.
Google "dougs itunes scripts" ... if someone's done one already you
should find it there.
