The OS on machine that connects is Vista Business, on one that doesn't it's
XP. The router is Netgear RangeMax

On machine that connects, settings are:

IP 192.168.0.4

IPv4 Subnet: 255.255.255.0

Default gateway 192.168.0.1

DNS settings obtained automatically

On machine that doesn't connect, settings are:

IP 192.168.0.25

Subnet 255.255.255.0

Default gateway 192.168.0.1

DNS: 4.2.2.2

Alternate 4.2.2.1

as you've probably already noticed - your DNS is screwed up -
checkmark the "obtain automatically" like on the one that works....
It looks like the router is acting as a DNS proxy,
so the DNS address will/should point to the router -> 192.168.0.1

So should I change the DNS settings on the one that doesn't work from
4.2.2.2 to 192.168.0.1

I would try that - if the other is working.... or checkmark the "obtain
automatically"

The 4.2.2.2. is a valid address - but not sure if it's to be used as your
DNS server -
