From: ME&YOU on 6 May 2008 02:23 We have four computers connecting via our Netgear router. Two are connected via cable and two laptops via wireless. Now one of the will connect to the home network (in that I can access the shared files on the other pcs etc) but wont connect to the internet. Ive checked and triple checked the settings and they seem fine. I gave up and set up a new wireless network and the other laptop connected without any problems at all but again this one just wont. I changed the IP to a static IP address with no success, Ive turned off the firewall. Any ideas?

Give better details when asking questions, for a start? Try this, type "ipconfig /all" on a machine that works, and then on one that doesn't. Besides the IP address, all other information should be the same. If they're not, well, that's certainly going to be part of the problem. Post the ipconfig info. That and make/model of the equipment being used.
