Does anyone know how to make sound seemlessly loop in flash. At the moment I
have a small mp3 file of a car engine revving which I need to loop
continuously. The problem I have is that when I import the sound clip into
flash it adds a slight pause at the beginning and the end of the sound.

Does anyone know a way to fix this so to make the mp3 loop without any pause
of blip in sound between loops so it appears as one continuous sound?

You will probably need a WAV file of the sound. When you import mp3's into Flash, they don't usually loop cleanly.

MP3 format will always have a few frames of *dead* space - so they can never be looped perfectly -
use WAV format or AIF instead. make sure it loops perfectly outside of flash before importing.

even if i use the raw material such as .wav or .aif the problem remains

well - i have large hard drives full of perfectly looping WAV and AIF files - must be the way you
are looping them in flash - explain how you are using your sounds in flash and i am sure there's a
better way.
