From: Tygue on 1 Feb 2010 08:20 Please help I am currently working on developing a Simulink model in order to characterize the response of a SOFC-GT hybrid system to a varying load of a building. I have load profiles generated in excel and with a line plot I have a function which describes the shape. My question is how do I simulate this function in Simulink as a source? I know this may be trivial but I have no academic support in this matter and I'm trying to learn as I go...

I didn't really understand what you are tryihng to use as a source in simulink, but you may take a look at the 'from Workspace' and 'from File' blocks. you can import the data from excel and save it as a matrix. for what regards the line, if you only have the line, you can create a matrix of x and y values (which you pick by hand) and use that as source (/always with the from workspace or from file blocks). hope I got the point! good luck silvia
