From: Daniel Dalton on 25 Jun 2008 18:40 Hi, i have a card reader in my computer, but want to mount my external hard drive at boot-up. Sometimes the external hard drive is on /dev/sdb or /dev/sdf... So what is the best way to: - either make it only use one of these paths? - Tell which one it is on and if it is the external hard drive? - How do I mount it then at boot up? Thanks for any help, -- Daniel Dalton http://members.iinet.net.au/~ddalton/ <d.dalton(a)iinet.net.au> -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-user-REQUEST(a)lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Otherwise it wouldn't be an issue, gnome would mount it for me.
