It takes two single clicks to select the point (the first selects the whole series). When a single point has been selected, and you mouse over it, the cursor changes to a two- or four-headed arrow. Dragging in this state changes the underlying data for the point. - Jon ------- Jon Peltier, Microsoft Excel MVP Tutorials and Custom Solutions Peltier Technical Services, Inc. - http://PeltierTech.com _______ "David Biddulph" <groups [at] biddulph.org.uk> wrote in message news:485694a3$1_1(a)glkas0286.greenlnk.net... > Click, then Drag > [But firstly, make sure that your version of Excel is not 2007.] > -- > David Biddulph > > "sabdurra" <sabdurra(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message > news:CD77B40E-958E-432D-A8C2-815E5FB8511F(a)microsoft.com... >> how do you click and drag a data point in an excel chart? > > |
