One of my labmates showed me this:
http://torrents.on.nimp.org/~incog/winxp.php

which actually I think takes you to http://torrents.nimp.org/index.php

Careful, it starts opening windows in Mozilla. I tried on my Mozilla
1.7.5 in Debian Sarge and it opened like 10 or so windows which I had to
close manually. Anyone else seen anything like this?

More like hundreds! I'm using firefox and I couldn't get to a console to
kill it without the console window losing focus. As I'm running on an
XDMCP screen I had to switch to a console, log in, ssh to the server and
kill it there. By the time I got back, my XDMCP session was locked up.
That really sucked.
It was worse under IE6 (crossover office emulated). 1st it started a
little animation using opening windows, then it displayed a most
disturbing image.
I hope people read the rest of this thread before clicking on your link.

Hah! Not a single extra window was opened. So much for "PopupByPasser Mod".
But then, I don't have Flash installed, and really don't feel like I need
all those flashy things flying across my screen, feeding me with "rich ads
media", or opening hundreds of windowses. When I want to watch cartoons, I
turn the TV on. Firefox here is being used to read content on the web, not
to watch it flashing/flying around.

I guess that's one way around the problem. :D
